In-CLASS TEACHING

We will come to your facilities and set up our learning environment at the location of your choosing. Class time varies from 2 to 4 hours (depending on the size / experience of the class).

Workers will learn about the equipment they will use based on these 3 principles:

  • How to fit the equipment to them.

  • How to safely use or operate the equipment.

  • How to care for it (inspections, maintenance, cleaning and storage)

We follow and teach CSA , ANSI guidelines in addition to Worrksafe BC regulations.
Maintenance, hazards identification, and safe use are only a few of the topics approached.
Students will participate in a celebration of knowledge (test) at the end of the class, successful participants will go on with the practice part of the training.

Practice & Evaluation

After completing the class part of the course, students are invited to practice, under supervision, with equipment.

Inspections, safe use, mount and dismount, and hazards identification, will be observed.
Once practice is validated, students will receive a certificate (card) of completion.
